4. Theme Options

The theme uses the WordPress Customizer feature for it's global/theme options. Customizer is a native WordPress feature which was added in WordPress back in 2012, so if you've ever used WordPress you won't have any problems.

Note: Only functionality related options are in the Customizer. For styling options use YellowPencil, documentation for it can be found at waspthemes.com/yellow-pencil/documentation/.

You can access the customizer at WP AdminAppearanceCustomize. In there you will see these sections:

  • General
  • Social URLs
  • Social APIs
  • Header
  • Footer
  • Footer Subscribe
  • Other


General

In the general section of the theme options you can set the logo image, both regular and for retina displays.


Social URLs

In the social URLs section of the theme options you can set the URLs to your social website profiles. They will be used for the social elements/icons in the header and in the social widget.


Social APIs

In the social APIs section of the theme options you can set the API settings for differnt social website. Those settings are used for the followers count in the social widget.


Header

In the header section of the theme options you can enable/disable sticky top bar, change the default header style and set up the header advertisement banner.


Footer

In the footer section of the theme options you can enable/disable different footer elements and also change the copyright text.


Footer Subscribe

In the footer subscribe section of the theme options you can set up the subscribe elements that are shown at the top of the footer.


Other

In the other section of the theme options are various options that are not enough to have separate section in the theme options.
